Our Beliefs

We believe God is the only living God with no beginning and no end. He is known as God the Father, God the Son.. Jesus, God the Spirit…The Holy Spirit. 

We believe salvation is by trusting in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins.

When a person trusts in Christ, God the Father places His Spirit in the person. God saves that person from the penalty of sin, called justification.  He saves that person from the power of sin on a daily basis and transforms them to be like Christ to be His hands and feet, called Sanctification.  He saves us from the very presence of sin when He takes us to Heaven, and we get a glorified body, called Glorification.   

We believe every believer should obey the Lord and be baptized, not for the forgiveness of sin, but to show they have been forgiven of sin.  Baptism is an outward expression of an inward decision to Trust in Christ. 

Baptism shows a person has died to self and come alive in Christ. It also represents the death, burial, and resurrection of Christ.

We believe the Bible is the Word of God.  We believe the Bible is the inspired, Word of God, written by 40 different authors, in three languages, over 1400 years, and has one theme, the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  We believe the Bible is without error and all fields of study support what the Bible teaches.

We believe that God has called every believer to become like Jesus Christ caring and serving those around us, and sharing the Gospel, so they will have a relationship with Christ.
